History

Labiana was founded in 1958 specialising in the manufacture of Pharmacological Products for veterinary use. The company was later acquired by the Fine Chemicals division on BASF Group in 1980, meaning the flexibility of the company could be bolstered by the ethic and culture of that famous international Group.
In 1999, LABIANA became independent through an MBO (Management Buy Out) while in 2003, the management succesfully organised a Secondary MBO, with changes in the shareholdings.
In 2004, LABIANA expanded its pharmaceutical activity with the purchase of the Valeant Group's manufacturing facility at Corbera de Llobregat (Barcelona).
Then, at the beginning of this year, LABIANA was bought by the Dutch company ATC Corporate Services (Netherlands) B.V.

Currently, LABIANA Life Sciences and LABIANA Pharmaceuticals develop their commercial activity in the international market, offering integrated outsourcing services for the human and veterinary pharmaceutical industries.
